Bishop F. Richard Spencer, Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese for the Military Services presided the Confirmation Mass at JEB Little Creek Chapel, Virginia Beach, VA.

Honor Guards included: FCapt Joe Burns, Frank Green, FN Ted Quinter, CCC Wayne Phelps, Earl Reid, Stan Schnell, and Robert James.

The Special Olympians showed immense appreciation for the Color Corps presentation of Colors and for Honor Guards at the lighting of the torch.

Monday, October 31, 2022 Assembly , Color Corps

The Most Reverend Barry C. Knestout, Bishop of the Diocese of Richmond, celebrated Mass at St. Stephen, Martyr Roman Catholic Church (SSMRCC) on October 22nd.  The Bishop was there for a ground breaking of a parish expansion project and to officially install their new priest, Father Charles “The Giant” Ssebalamu. Our very own SK Bob James was there to support All Saints Assembly 2185.

Brother Sir Knights,

Leadership of the Assembly met last week and unanimously agreed to cancel this year’s fish fries.  This decision did not come easily, but ultimately CDC guidance, Commonwealth rules, and the desire to keep everyone safe trumped the need for fraternal activity and the service we provide during Lent.  Positive cases are on the rise, and the mutations are spreading, so in the leadership’s opinion the risks far exceed the benefits of doing the fish fries.
